Overview
Whiteline KTA252 is an alloy front lower control arm for selected Audi, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen vehicles on the MQB platform, in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations where listed for the vehicle. The alloy construction reduces arm mass compared with the original equipment arm.
Geometry and handling
The arm provides a fixed geometry correction of approximately −0.3° camber and +2.0° caster. The additional caster increases dynamic negative camber during cornering and supports steering self-centring. It is not described as an on-car-adjustable arm.
Design
The rear mounting uses a synthetic elastomer bushing with a sealed bearing assembly. The front mounting uses an oversized heavy-duty crush tube. Whiteline describes these features as improving arm location and steering precision.
Fitment and installation
Confirm the exact vehicle, model year, drivetrain and side/application before ordering. Follow the manufacturer installation instructions and have the wheel alignment checked after fitting.
