The manufacturer states this product is not approved under German StVZO regulations and that DME error messages must be programmed out. Confirm emissions compliance and road-use legality in your jurisdiction before purchase or installation. Wagner specifies its catalytic converters for otherwise OEM vehicles, not ECU tuning or modifications such as deactivation of overrun fuel cut-off. Catalyst warranty claims are subject to inspection and require proof that the engine remains in original specification and proper working order.
