Motul Chain Clean is a powerful degreasing cleaner for road and off-road motorcycle chains. This 20L container is suited to workshops and professional chain-maintenance use.
Motul states that it removes encrusted dust, sand, soil, oil, grease and tar. Its chlorine-free formula is compatible with O-ring, X-ring and Z-ring chains and evaporates quickly. Motul also lists use on chains for bicycles, mopeds, go-karts and ATVs.
For chain cleaning, apply the product and allow it to dry for about five minutes. If the chain is heavily soiled, use a non-abrasive brush and reapply. Relubricate the chain with a suitable lubricant after cleaning. Follow the chain and vehicle manufacturers’ maintenance instructions.
