Kelford valve spring kits for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines. Choose by exact SKU, engine generation, retainer arrangement, cam profile and intended operating range.
- KVS63: PACALOY single spring for OEM retainer and spring base; VR-4/EVO 1–7 applications; 83 lb seat pressure at 39.0 mm installed height; 24.0 mm coil bind.
- KVS63-BK: PACALOY beehive spring for stock retainers on EVO 8–9; intended for high-rpm, high-boost competition engines; install at 90 lb; maximum valve lift 13.50 mm. Current supplier stock was not confirmed.
- KVS63-BTK: EVO 1–9 beehive springs with titanium retainers and bases; intake 115 lb at 35.5 mm / 245 lb at 12 mm lift; exhaust 120 lb at 35.0 mm / 254 lb at 12 mm lift; 22 mm coil-bind height.
- KVS63-EXTREME: extreme drag-racing spring/retainer/seat kit for 1650+ hp and 11,000+ rpm applications; 4340 black-nitrided retainers, 4140 seats, 14 mm maximum lift. Intake 132 lb at installed height / 278 lb at 12 mm lift; exhaust 142 lb / 292 lb at 12 mm lift.
These kits have different retainers, applications and spring loads. Verify engine generation, camshaft profile, installed height, clearances and component compatibility before ordering. Professional installation is recommended.
