Kelford Cams 222 Series camshaft profiles for Nissan/Datsun L-series L20–L28 OHC six-cylinder engines. Choose a profile for near-stock upgrades, fast-road use, club rally/track racing, professional race engines or turbocharged applications.

Cam profiles

  • 222-A — 270°/270°, 11.80/11.80 mm valve lift. Stage 1 upgrade for near-stock engines.
  • 222-B — 280°/280°, 11.80/11.80 mm. Mild fast-road profile for side-draught carburettors; can use stock carburettors but idle may be rough.
  • 222-C — 296°/296°, 11.60/11.60 mm. Mid-range performance for well-built engines with 45 mm side-draught carburettors or individual-runner fuel injection; suitable for club rally or track use.
  • 222-D — 304°/304°, 14.43/14.43 mm. Top-end profile for professionally built L-series race engines; not suitable for road cars.
  • 222-T — 264°/264°, 10.90/10.90 mm. Turbo cam with wider lobe separation to reduce overlap.

Kelford lists KVS4206 dual valve springs as a matching component across these profiles. Confirm lash, engine build and valvetrain compatibility before ordering; fit and set up to Kelford specifications.
