The APR IC100019 bar-and-plate intercooler is an OEM-location direct-bolt-on upgrade for specified 1.8T/2.0T MQB and MQB Evo vehicles. APR lists Audi A3, S3, TT and TTS 2015–2024; Volkswagen Arteon 2022–2023, Golf 2015–2018, Golf Alltrack 2017–2019, Golf R and GTI 2015–2024, and Jetta 2019–2024. APR lists 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG/S tronic versions. Confirm engine, transmission and exact model year before ordering.
APR states no trimming or permanent modifications are required. Its page notes that EA888 Gen 1/2 vehicles use different intercooler systems.
