The CTS Turbo BOSS500 is a turbo upgrade kit for FSI (timing-belt) EA113 applications. CTS rates it for 400–500 hp depending on fueling and engine modifications.
The kit uses a CTS Gen2 GTX 50/67 dual ball-bearing CHRA with an 8-blade billet compressor wheel, a proprietary exhaust housing with an approximately 0.63 A/R scroll, custom oil and water lines, silicone couplers, a wastegate bracket and installation hardware. The housing is designed to work with any exhaust downpipe.
Compatibility and requirements
- Fits Audi A3 (2008–2013), Audi S3 (2008–2012), Volkswagen Golf R (2012–2013), GTI (2008–2009) and Jetta (2008–2010), subject to engine and vehicle configuration.
- Does not fit right-hand-drive vehicles.
- MK6 Golf R and 8P Audi S3 require a diverter-valve block-off plate.
- Compatible with CTS Turbo intake. Other intakes may be adaptable, but CTS does not provide installation guidance for them.
- Use an OEM or CTS Turbo outlet pipe. A CTS Turbo or other billet diverter/blow-off valve may be used.
- CTS says the kit supports tuning for stock or upgraded fueling; professional installation and appropriate calibration are recommended.
Included: CTS Gen2 GTX 50/67 CHRA, CTS exhaust housing, wastegate bracket, 4-ply silicone couplers, oil lines, water lines and installation hardware.
