Gravity Performance ZZ03819-BK-1 is a black front-mount intercooler kit with a bar-and-plate core and high-flow end tanks. The aluminium construction is designed to increase cooling capacity while limiting pressure drop. The kit is intended as a direct replacement for the original setup; its inlet and outlet sit on the vehicle nearside to avoid redirecting pipework. Gravity states it can withstand up to 3 bar of boost.
Compatible vehicles: Volkswagen Golf GTI MK4 1.8T, 1998–2004; Volkswagen Bora 1.8T, 1999–2005.
Specifications: 550 × 65 × 225 mm core; 63 mm inlet and outlet; 670 × 65 × 255 mm overall dimensions; 8 kg. Includes four bolts, four 67–75 mm clamps and two 63 mm silicone couplers. Sensor ports: 12 mm and 18 mm.
