Overview

The Akrapovič Downpipe / Link Pipe Set (SS), part number DP/L-AU/SS/2, is an optional component that must be mounted together with the Evolution Line (Titanium) system. PERON lists the Audi RS Q8 (4M), including OPF/GPF, for 2020–2024; Akrapovič also lists this part for the RS Q8 (4M) 2026. Check the vehicle’s equipment code before ordering.

Features

  • Stainless-steel downpipes with sporty 200 cpsi catalytic converters and insulation.
  • Stainless-steel link pipes with custom flex sections and insulation at their connections.
  • Manufacturer-reported weight reduction: 6.7 kg; listed installation time: 360 minutes.

Installation and compliance

Akrapovič states that the optional downpipe does not fit vehicles with equipment code 5C1. For OPF vehicles, fitting it invalidates the Evolution Line’s ECE type approval and ECU remapping is mandatory. Akrapovič states this product does not meet street or highway emissions-compliance requirements. Confirm the vehicle’s equipment, exhaust-system combination and current installation instructions before ordering or fitting.

Use restriction: For off-road or motorsport use only.
