Overview
The Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium), product code S-ME/TI/16H, is an exhaust upgrade for the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 / GLE 63 S (W167). It combines lightweight titanium construction with hand-crafted carbon-fibre tailpipes and titanium inner sleeves. Akrapovič reports a deeper exhaust tone and reduced weight.
Fitment and approval
Designed as a direct replacement for vehicles equipped with the AMG Performance exhaust and fitted with the standard factory hitch. Akrapovič states ECE type approval for vehicles equipped with an Otto particulate filter (OPF). Installing the Akrapovič Sound Kit invalidates the Evolution Line’s ECE type-approval certificate. Confirm the exact vehicle, original exhaust and approval certificate before ordering.
Installation
No ECU remapping is required, according to Akrapovič. Listed installation time is 300 minutes. Use the manufacturer’s current installation instructions and have the work completed by a suitably equipped specialist.
