Upgrade charge-air cooling on a Land Rover Defender TD5, 2.4 TDCi or 2.2 TDCi with this AIRTEC Motorsport front-mount intercooler. This selected version has a black powder-coated finish and Plain, no AIRTEC logo.
The single-pass core measures 555 × 352 × 60 mm and has a stated 11.7 litre capacity, compared with 5 litres standard. AIRTEC reports a 134% increase in capacity and 55% increase in frontal area. The 50 mm outlets connect to the original boost hoses, and the kit includes high-flow cast end tanks and fitting instructions.
Designed for models with air conditioning. Minor trimming of original plastic mountings is required. Models without air conditioning may need additional adjustment to the slam-panel support stays. Confirm model, air-conditioning configuration and fitment before ordering.
