Overview

AIRTEC Motorsport front-mount intercooler upgrade for the supercharged Mini Cooper S R53. This kit replaces the top-mount setup with a 50 mm bar-and-plate core (440 × 300 × 50 mm) with 45 mm OD pipework and cast end tanks. Kit includes alloy hard pipes, silicone connectors, clips and fittings. AIRTEC states custom installation requires air-conditioning removal and minor cutting under the bonnet; allow around 3–4 hours. Pro-Series Black is the only intercooler finish; logo options are available at no extra charge. AIRTEC currently lists this product as unavailable. Confirm supply, R53 compatibility and installation requirements with AIRTEC before ordering.
