AIRTEC Motorsport 2.5-inch big boost pipe kit with 70 mm cold-side hose for the Ford Focus ST Mk2. This configuration has Kawasaki Green silicone hoses, Pro-Series Black pipework and the standard 63 mm throttle-body option.
The hot side uses lightweight 2.5-inch alloy pipes with five-ply silicone joiners. The cold-side hose starts at 63 mm, then expands to 70 mm; swaged pipe ends help retain the hoses under higher boost. The direct-replacement kit includes the parts needed for installation and is a symposer-delete item.
AIRTEC states the kit fits AIRTEC, Pace, Pro-Alloy, Forge and Ford OEM intercoolers. For Focus ST225, the intercooler must have 2.5-inch outlets; the kit does not fit Stage 1 or Stage 2 Focus ST intercoolers, but does fit Stage 3. AIRTEC reports gains of 11.8 bhp and 9 lb-ft over standard from its testing and says the kit is best suited to high-output Focus RS vehicles.
